Boston Celtics (-4.5) @ Charlotte Bobcats

Celtics are playing even harder after the loss of crucial Rajon Rondo for the season, beating some top sides including Nuggets, Clippers and Heat on their way to a season record 7 game win streak. Bobcats on the other hand are shooting terribly from the floor and are currently on a 7 game losing streak to compliment Celtics. Handicap doesn't seem to reflect the recent gulf in form between these sides and Celtics should make the line easily enough.

Brooklyn Nets (+9) @ Indiana Pacers

The Nets, although having suffered a heavy defeat to the hands of the conference leading Spurs, have a tradition of bouncing back from such set-backs and have team spirit and desire on their side. The last time they suffered a 10+ defeat to the Spurs, they followed that with a road trip to the Clippers, beating them by 17 points. They are a side who are inconsistent at the moment though. Pacers on the other hand have been consistently great in recent matches (barring the slip up in overtime last night to the Raptors). Their big men are shooting high percentage and they are giving teams a lot of trouble inside with the power and rebounding of Hibbert. They have points all over. The overtime and the travel, however could play a factor in the Pacers perhaps not being at full potency here tonight and I think the line of 9 is way too high for two teams who, on the whole, aren't worlds apart in terms of ability.
